Free Choice – Europe River Cruise

scenic europe river cruise

Traveling on a scenic European river cruise can be one of the most beautiful and romantic ways to experience travel. You arrive at your destination, board a cruise boat, and embark on a voyage that will give you many free choice activity opportunities. As the ship sails along the river, you are transported from town to town, from the sea to the land, and from the tourist attractions to the ports.

Free Choice Of Activity

Scenic Europe river cruises provide passengers with an opportunity for free choice activity. On a standard cruise, you have no say in what you do or where you go. There is no regulation telling you which activities you may participate in or which restaurants you may visit, or which sightseeing destinations you may go to. You are left to your own devices and your own pace. However, if you are a thrill-seeker, this can be an exhilarating way to travel. It presents you with an opportunity to experience what it is like to live or work on a space-ship in ways that few people ever get to experience.

Places For Cruise

What kind of places is available on a scenic European river cruise? Some of the destinations you can visit include: Ireland, Scotland, England, Wales, and France. Each of these countries has a unique history and architecture and their own culture, festivals, cuisines, and people. When participating in a free choice European river cruise, you get to experience all of this without having to leave home.

When I first decided to take a cruise across the mighty Mississippi on a mega cruise ship, I didn’t know quite what to expect. I knew that I wanted to see the Southeastern United States, and I wanted to cruise through the Ohio and Michigan rivers. I also wanted to try something new, and this was the first cruise I had ever taken. I did my research, and I found a great river cruise itinerary filled with activities that would appeal to my traveling style.

Options For Eating

My first experience of a scenic European river cruise included many options for eating. On my first day, I took a walk on the deck and was greeted by an assortment of tables and cafe seating. I saw breakfast items on the menu, but the only choices were continental, waffles, croissants, and a few coffee shops. I opted to have a light dinner instead of a full meal to sample several European dishes while I was there. The sun lounge was packed with people enjoying their meals, but there were no sit down restaurants.

My second day aboard the European cruise went much the same way as my first. The sun deck was still packed, but there were three restaurant options, a bar and lounge, a Casino, and a sun lounge. I opted to have a sit-down meal, and I was served very well. A couple of Europeans approached me and asked if I preferred a buffet or table manners. I wasn’t sure which one I preferred more, so I decided to try both.

On my final day of the river trip, I decided to visit the ship’s wellness area. The wellness area was surprisingly clean, comfortable, and had all the modern conveniences I expected. I was impressed by how much thought had gone into the design of the entire space-ship. I stayed for a delicious lunch with some friends while exploring the rest of the wellness area.

When I got off the river cruise, I was extremely happy with my choice of ships, activities, and scenery. I had a great time, met some new friends, and returned from my Europe river cruise with many cherished memories. Although a budget was put into my trip to reward myself for my good time, I highly recommend taking a free choice cruise as I did. Free Choice European cruises offer some of the most scenic and enjoyable European river cruises available today. Their ships are smaller than the big cruise lines, so you have more personal experience, but at half the cost!
